The output of this pioneering research is expected to provide new knowledge on nanocarrier drug delivery systems of international importance. Furthermore, future exploitation of the results may, improve melanoma therapy and give prospects for application of this novel technology to other types of cancer with subsequent social and economic impact both at local and international level.
